2011 marks my 27th year on the snow and 17th year snowboarding. I was born in McCall, Idaho where all the kids are born with skis on their feet. After about 10 years of nordic and alpine skiing I switched to snowboarding. In 2002 I moved from McCall to Salt Lake City only to realize that the big city and the crowded mountains couldn’t compete with the unrivaled powder and tranquility of Central Idaho…so i moved home. Through the years I rose through the ranks of several snowboard companies but was never completely satisfied with the product I received, so at the end of 2010 I began designing and handcrafting my own snowboards in my barn with my dad. Along with being high quality, the boards embody the spirit of our area. Central Idaho is like no place else. The skiers and snowboarders of this area are never satisfied with the norm. We are so far removed from the “scene” that we typically find ourselves a few steps ahead, rather than a few steps behind. We receive very little recognition and We’re completely satisfied with that, because if everyone knew what we had, we wouldn’t have it all to ourselves.
